Women's Retreat 2008 Dates
Fall: November 14th, 15th & 16th
Held at The Inn At East Hill Farm
Troy New Hampshire
We had so much fun at the fall retreat that we
immediately booked for the spring and fall of next year.
This
retreat is a chance for women to gather, share their craft,
meet new friends, relax, try new things and just have fun!
Activities may include the following: yoga, dancing,
knitting, journaling, workshops on self-care, group walks
and much more.
The cost of the
retreat is $275.00. This includes all of meals from
Friday dinner through Sunday lunch and access to all of the
above activities. A $75.00 deposit is required to
reserve your spot.
Fall Deposit:
Due by July 1st

What to do with all of that leftover yarn, Knit for a
good cause!
The Knitting Knook is knitting hats for Cheshire Medical
Center. If you would like to contribute we are taking
donations of knitted hats for babies, children and adult
chemo hats. There is a basket at the store for the
collection of your completed hats.
We've already
been able to deliver one basket full to the hospital, but
would sure like to deliver another. Keep those hats
coming and a huge thank you to all of you who have
participated.
We also now have Goddess Shawl kits
in the store, a new item that we've put together because
you've requested it. Knit yourself or someone else a
delicious shawl made from a variety yarns of different
textures and fibers. No two kits are alike and colors
range from light blue, bright pink, red, black, green to
burnt orange. You pick your color preference and we
can build a kit for you. The kits are priced from
$35.00 - 50.00 depending on the yarn contents. Each
kit contains over a 1000 yards of yarn. A great gift
to yourself or someone else!
We brought these kits to the NH Sheep
& Wool Festival in May and they were a huge success!
We are also now carrying a variety of
knitting magazines such as: Knitter's, Vogue Knitting,
Interweave Knits, Knitscene and Knit. 1. Also carrying
Interweave Crochet.
