Welcome knitters!

Finally our website construction is complete!  It has been too long since our site has been current.

The Knitting Knook moved to its new location at 36 Central Square in Keene on April 8, 2011.  We have made sure we continue to carry the favorites labels Plymouth, Cascade, Patons.  We have also been listening to those who requested we expand to labels like Rowan, Noro and Malabrigo as well as some really unique yarns.  Of course, your yellow customer appreciation card is still valid.

Needless to say it has been a busy time setting up the store and making room for all the yarn that we have selected.  By we, I mean Katherin Henley and Lil DeCoste who are not only talented knitters but also great assets to the store. Without them I couldn’t have accomplished all this. Just being around them I have learned so much and we work so well together.

When I rented the space I didn’t realize how much fun it would be to “dress” the front and side windows.  It has proven to be enjoyable and we’ve had fun working together to create a vision we hope is enjoyed by the downtown shoppers.

We are looking forward to the holidays that are fast approaching and have some new ideas up our sleeves.  We hope you will stay in touch by exploring our website and finding it informative.  Of course the best way to see what we are about is to come in and explore the “knook” itself.  We have our own greeter named Buddy who makes everyone feel welcome.
