PERSONALIZED INSTRUCTION

We love to knit and want to help you love it just as much!  We continue to schedule classes that sometimes meet the needs of our customers but, many times no one is interested.  When no one signs up for our classes it doesn’t help us reach our goal of sharing that love for knitting.

At the same time, customers often say, “I know how to knit and purl but don’t know how to follow a pattern.”  Hard to make a hat or a sweater that way!  So. . .

We have a challenge for you as well as us.

Step 1:   Stop by the store to find a pattern (or chose one online) that you would like to knit.

Step 2:  Let us know which Tuesday night or Thursday morning you would like to start.  Pay an initial fee of $25 for your first two hour personalized class.  (You will also be given a 10% discount on all the materials purchased during Step 3.)

Step 3:   On that day and time, Lil will be in the store to help you determine the yarn and needles to use, will help you adjust your gauge and get you started.  In that first two hour session, we should get a good head start on your project.  We'll also read through all directions and try to head off future questions.

Step 4:   You can then schedule future classes on a $10 per hour basis only if and when you need them.

We will continue to schedule Learn to Knit classes on Sunday afternoons as follows:

May 5 and 19

June 9 and 16

July 14 and 21

August 4 and 11

September 15 and 22
 

WHAT’S NEW IN THE CROCHET CORNER?

If you prefer to crochet, Sedie has added the following dates to her schedule:

On May 9 & 16 from 6 - 8 pm she’ll be here to help Intermediate students work on making a sweater.

On May 23 & 30 from 6 - 8 pm she’ll be here to offer the same for personalized instruction in Crochet.  If more days are needed we’ll add more in June.
